Jumper the Fennec Fox (color/accessory concepts)

A few years ago I got really hooked on Sonic the Hedgehog thanks to watching the Sonic Mania animation intro... many times, over and over again, hehe. I was so obsessed with it that it led me to the point where I wanted to make my own character, a character as an uncommon species that most people wouldn't think to be in the Sonic universe, until later on I find out that there IS a comic exclusive character and very few people have made their own fennecs as I was improving Jumper's design over time, then I was just like, 'oh well'. I still went on with improving his design more and more until I found the result I was looking for, always aiming for that official video game feel of the design, and I feel like this is it. To me looks more like something of a 'modern Sonic' design but that was what I was going for, and I like it, a lot.

His designs in the very beginning were... definitely something else, let me tell ya. The sketches I've made looked NOTHING like they came from a Sonic game, but it took me about two or three years to finally perfect the official look, and I'm very happy with how this round turned out :)

I want to share more of his designs from over the years so you'll see what I'm rambling about. I have drawn MANY MANY sketches of this fennec so that'll be one of my biggest posts to share with all y'all, lol.
